GTS conversion.. Fuel lines?
You can order a factory fuel line from Toyota, pretty cheaply, these parts in in Australian dollars. You need the hard fuel line 8mm. Then you use the original fuel supply line as your return.
23206-16170 in-tank fuel pump bracket 23091-12020 short fuel hose between 8mm line and tank 77205-12120 hard fuel line 8mm (EFI 4A-GE) $76.45 23300-19025 fuel filter with bracket (EFI) $95.50 + GST 90923-01278 flex fuel hose in engine bay, banjo ends 90401-12097 banjo bolt for fuel filter |

GTS conversion.. Fuel lines?
Hi
Ive done my fuel line with 250psi rubber flexible hoses: 5/16 (8mm) int dia. for tank to filter 130inch long 1/4 (6mm) int dia. for return 140inch long You will also need 3 fittings on the fuel filter(see pic) but unfortunatly I cant remember the thread size Like parrot says you will still need these OEM parts to collect the lines: 90923-01278 flex fuel hose in engine bay, banjo ends 90401-12097 banjo bolt for fuel filter 23300-19025 fuel filter with bracket (EFI) $95.50 + GST This is just to show you how rubber lines are easy to install. Hope thats help Hugo Its all about sharing the Knowledge, sharing the LOVE not about who's the best... No crew, no battles only some friends who's like to hang out and do what they like... |

GTS conversion.. Fuel lines?
Ok so I have the OEM fuel pump, SR5 Tank, and GTS Fuel Filter.
1) I was wondering where the fuel lines fit on the fuel pump 2) My GTS fuel filter does not have the attachment that the fuel filter in the above post (second picture) has on the bottom. The "L" shaped thing. What is it called and how does it help? 3) What other cars can I get the appropriate parts from for the fuel system at the junkyard (AE92? Supra?) 4) And finally, does anyone have a picture of their ae86 with the fuel line system in view? Thanks to anyone who responds!! PS: not sure about aeu86.org and their etiquette policy about resurrecting a dead thread. I would hope its better than starting a new one! |

1: Dunno, but you might be able to find this in the manual.
2: The elbow attachment is not stock, it's just something that allows you to fit any rubber line instead of the original one with a banjo fitting. 3: Fuel pumps can be found in mk3 supra's, FC RX-7's, best bet on a higher flowing pump, you dont want to end up with too little fuel to the engine when you're flogging it. 4: Cant help you there. The policy on dead threads is mostly there because things get confusing when people start reacting to 3 year old threads. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
