Weeeeell i think i should post some pics of my hachi project progress.
A lot of things have changed the last months.... So, first thing that needed to change, was the suspension. I used konis with cut OEM springs, not the best thing for handling. My aim was to put some good coilovers and to do something with the brakes wich were very weak. So i went for the s13 front conversion. Bought some TEINs, brakes, LCA etc from an s13 Ae brake vs s13 rear coiover As you might know, the conversion needs some work to be done to fit everything in their place. first the camper plates then the Lcas from the nissan (almost 5cm longer each side...) new holes for the castor rod suited the brake lines everything OK now wheels stick out to the fenders like they should be got lock?? car was extremely low, couldn t drivr it out of my garage |

so i raised ti a bit, to be more drivable.
As for the rear, i just put the tein damper, but with a Trd 4.7kg spring. Front and rear rates now are 6kg and 4.7kg, pretty nice for a occasionally drifter hachi. I also tried to convert my engine to itbs but i failed. My aim was to work it with the oem ecu but it didnt work finally. The car fired up, was driving quite nice, the sound was amazing, but it was running extremelly rich, so i was getting ls1 fuel economy... 40litres for 100km is bad for a daily driver... so i took them off and sold them except the itbs... In the meanwhile i installed a trd head gasket, the engine waked up a little bit, nice mod. I also installed a sparco bucket seat And finally, my new wheels arived... 15x8 with 0 offset also had to cut the inside of the bumper, and zipptied it to the wing( the wheel was rubbing...) Hope you like it! |

Damn it looks sweet.....
It's a shame you couldn't make the ITB's work properly, it would make a nice audio background for the looks of your Hachi. I see you've got some serious steering lock now, huh? And don't worry about the zip ties in the front bumper. They add a bit of JDMness....
