Oil consumpsion?!

How much does your 4A-GE uses oil??

Yesterday I'we filled for the first time since I bought the car a little oil after running for 5 000km and aprox it used 1-1,5 dcl...

I hardly notice any oil consumpsion with my hachi actualy...

But it really depends on what type of oil you use, the thinner the oil, the easier it sips through stuff..

on a trip of around 200km highway and the rpms between 7/8 k rpm mine will use around 0,2ltr.

But on normal use it´s not using any i can see on the dipstick,
but my engine is wtith new bearings ,pistonsrings etc.


It´s fun at 8krpm with the Supra gearbox,the car is going pretty fast

mine is about a quart every two tanks of gas. I never have to change my oil. Just the filter. I bet I have the cleanest oil on the forum

I can gladly say (touch wood) mine burns or goes through no oil at all

When my 86 was on the road it used ~0,05 l/Mm with the original, never rebuilt, 350.000 km engine :!:

i used to go through 1 liter every two weeks, then i put a new o ring on the distributor, and it leaks a liter every month. dammit wheres the leak
