Objective, 200hp with 4age.
for injectors you could use some supra MK3 non turbo.. (7MGE)
they ar 312cc; high impendance (good for stand alone) and straigt fit on bigport fuel system and a question from my side... what is the big difference between 40mm or 42mm crank ? do these 2mm add so much strength? or is that because there no good rods available for de 40mm crank ? I'm not engine builder, pretty much amateur, but what i've seen ITB's are a must for high end 4AGE. Plenum/airbox or not, your choice, but must have 4 blades.
Worth considering is two stage injection. In total, ~350cc injector per cylinder will be enough even for 10 000 rpm and AFR below 12. |

speakin about rpm and etc
engines can go up in rpm bat to have power so hi up you need cams over 300 . cams below 300 like the 288 i consider them for daily drive . when you speak for race motor we always put cams more then 300. 1976 TA28 CELICA 1978 PUBLICA PICKUP 1980 4WD PICKUP 1983 AE86 LEVIN 2007 AYGO |

also the superteck parts are the worst you can install in your motor .
my personal opinion . not so good company . for good usa try ferrea. one of the best . or toda or trd or some other japanese brand. many times happen to us that supertech valves broke at the neck . best that i try was the ferrea. 1976 TA28 CELICA 1978 PUBLICA PICKUP 1980 4WD PICKUP 1983 AE86 LEVIN 2007 AYGO |

Project D Wrote:4000GT Wrote:15:1 compressionYou mean 15 bar ? (wich should be around 13:1 CR) Nope I mean 15:1 static compression. With big cams the compression does bleed off, dynamic compression... There is more timing that could be wound in with ethanol, which I may tune up on down the track. |

PatrickAE86 Wrote:and a question from my side... Well the biggest difference is the crank itself. Since it isn't full counter(which generates a greater imbalance at high RPM), it is weaker than the 42mm (almost full counter) Sadly their is no compagny who make forged full counter crank in 40mm + Forged conrod. (recently +EM have made conrods in 40/20) On the other hand many compagny like Tomei, Tec Art's, Jun etc. offer full counter crank in 42mm and conrod. |
