Rough starts

Ok guys im having a problem with cold starts, when the motor is cold and i fire her up it idles rough and turns off if im not giving it gas. once it reaches good temp the motor idles alright, maybe cuz of the cams it idles weird. but the cold starts are killing me... what can the issue be? where should i start...

Sounds like your thermostatic idle-up valve under the throttlebody is
either stuck/failed closed, or maybe it has been deleted. Either way, it
seems you are not getting any extra air bled into the intake manifold
to raise the cold idle.

Do you still have two small rubber hoses taking water to the valve, and
do they get hot when the engine is warmed up ??

as above, for normal engine, but you mention cams, what spec?? And tuning/ecu?

sorry took a while to reply... i really dont know much bout the car, my friend owe me money and he gave me the car. so ima look at it tomorrow morning and check out.

and tuning doesnt seem that its been tuned, i havent checked if its a stock ecu yet. theres much to learn bout this ride.
