Seats
I drove today all afternoon and just got home, got stuck in traffic. My point is that my SR5 seats really wear me out. I need better seats for those long drives. Any suggestions?

I don't have a clue about the SR5 seats..but so far, the AE86 "GTS" seats here in europe are among the best seats that I have ever found in a standard car..
If you still want better comfort, the best option would be to just go out and try out various seats from various (car)manufacturers. Almost anything can be made to fit quite easily, and every person is totally different regarding seat preferences. The seat has to suit "you". To say the least, the SR5 seats are kicking my ass after a long time of driving, maybe it's me???
Just in case you would like to see them, maybe you can imagine how they feel. They dont look bad. Maybe I can take the seats from an AE92? theyre all over the junkyard, or an MR2, if im lucky ill find an intact AE86 GTS, that would be the best day of my life. I have seen mr2 seat conversions...dont look nice in a hachi, but if they are comfy...
Some older supra seats also fit easily, but are very heavy. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

The position is little higher than original ones, the seats are little wider but they look very impressive! A little cut&weld is involving - you can use AE92 rails. |

The higher position is a big drawback of almost any seat you try to adapt to fit a hachi...the stock GTS seats are nice and low..

Sniper,
dont do that man. Just change the SR5 seats with a GTS adjustable ones. All other seats seat higher, and you 'll need a new steeering wheel too... The stock seats of the GTS are pretty compfortable for a sport seat. I think it must be YOU who have the brob By the way the new deep dish steering wheel of mine solved the problem with the hight bucket seat. No driving possition is perfect!!!!
