Traction brackets what do they do?
Traction Brackets :
Installing these on lowered AE86's corrects the rear lower control arms (lower 4-link) geometry. What they do is change the angle the arm/link sits at, when it does that it allows the car to better apply a downward force on accel via the tires to the ground. Basically the suspension pushes against the car and forces the tire downwards, resulting in increased traction. It doesn't correct it..it changes it. The car never gets back to stock arm positions the way that the front RCA's gets things close again. To do that you either have to move the pickups upward on the body or all pickups on the axle downward. Just changing two of the four brackets introduces a whole new range of suspension behaviour. Some like it..some don't
