Here is one of my Gen 1 GZE
(AE92 I guess due to DLI and AFM (L-JET) 275K on the car and about 200K on engine.. Stock ECU, NO Intercooler (just a conection pipe) stock exhoust header rest is Megan Catback funny thing is that the power is still increasing until max RPM! and that I have so mutch horsepower! I should have 145HP and this is almost 165HP! what are your thoughts about it... Kind Regards, Roel [/img] Gtsi-R "Trust me, I was an engineer" "straight lines are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers" |

GTRJazz Wrote:But mine gets most use on track where I would never drop below 5k so a good benifit for me power is 131.9 bhp at only 6950rpm instead of 133bhp at 7650rpm so when the fueling issue is fixed I will make quite a bit more reving up to 8000rpm Its difficult to tell, but on the old graph you seem to have 130ish hp from below 700rpm as well.. Any reason the second run was to a lower RPM? Seems like you might have found more hp at 7600rpm again. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

makkuro Wrote:What cam timing will you recommend formy set up? Now i know what timing i will use. but first i want to thank Project D who guided me all the way through ( choice of the cams, choice of the size of the gasket, choice of the muffler, how much to shave, how to break in the engine etc to get the number that i got. He convinced me to keep my engine and upgrade it as it is now instead of doing a swap where i will spend way more because you never know how is the health of the engine, real mileage, change the wires.etc. you know what i mean. thanks dude! here is my numbers: 148hp on not ultimate condition my toyota is fantastic |

If I can add few things up about makkuro's setup.
The engine head, apart from the parts mentioned earlier, is absolutely stock. (Not ported) Also, he still use the stock ECU 1st: 148hp (135rwhp) @ 7327rpm and 158Nm (116.6ft-lbs) @ 5294rpm 2nd: 146.2hp (133rwhp) @ 6868rpm and 163.3Nm (120.5ft-lbs) @ 5308rpm 3rd: 147.4hp (134rwhp) @ 7059rpm and 162Nm (119.5ft-lbs) @ 5191rpm |
