bumper brackets
hey guys as you all know the brackets for the jdm kouki front bumpers are a little expensive. i just bought a kouki front bumper for my corolla gts, and i have the american front bumper so im switching it to the jdm style and was wondering would i really need the brackets or no? thanks

I've been wondering as well, but i'll give it a shot:
My feelings tell me that if it was unnecessary it wouldn't be that expensive. Now, the real question is - can it be custom made for half the price. My guess on that is 'yes,' let's see if i win a cookie... |

Yes you really need them.

I think a few hours with a nice collection of scrap steel and a welder will get you some acceptable bumper mounts too.
