There are some factors saying it would be better if I spot weld this. Firstly, it's a very thin plate and I tend to make holes. Like I've mentioned, I dunno if the reason is my welding equipment, which is rather an unsophisticated or the more realistic reason, my skills

I could go on saying that beams tend to crack along the whole length and spot welding makes it "safer", but like you said, I think it's more efficient with 2 cm beams...

Yeah, I think most Polish AE86 are in Wroclaw/Breslau.

The funny about this is, that I've seen a lot of other hachi-rokus and I consider mine to not be a very rusty one

A have a small port which I'm going to mod. It's going to be a AE92, AE101 and AE111 combo
But that's way in the future

time for another mini update

Had a lot of troubles with the right spring nest. It didn't come of as easy as on the other side, so it got a little bit dent. luckily with a lot of small welds, banging, grips and pins I manage to get it right in place again.Of course primed and cleaned

before welding it in place I spot welded some

the nest





I also cut the pocket out

finished spot welding inside
