car cover
My recommendation is stay away from if you want to use them for extended periods of time. They trap moisture, and will not do your paint/bodywork much good.
If it's just to keep your car clean for the occasional short period then there's not much wrong with them. Low quality covers will rip to shreds if you leave them on a car after about a year out in our european weather. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

car cover
Ivan is correct in what he says about them trapping moisture, I know from personal experience.
In my case the moisture trapped under the cover affected the paint to such a degree that only a respray could fix it, it was a red car that had been left with white marks all over it from evaporating moisture and no amount of cutting compound etc. would shift the marks.
