clutch problem
Hi,
after installing new clutch and flywheel some noise and vibration appeared from clutch area. it appears when easing the gas pedal (at arround 3000 rpm).
Ive changed gearbox and cardan shaft and flywheel also but same problem.

Did anybody have same experience?
thanks a lot.

Did you change the clutch bearing that's sitting in the gearbox?
Big chance that that's causing the strange noises!

pressure plate and clutch bearing changed also.
Now driven arround 300 km.
The noise is different from bearing noise. And there is huge vibrations.
All arround 3000 rpm. It stops when clutch pedal is pressed.

Also, i changed clutch cover, clutch disc and clutch bearing but not flywheel. I have done 8000km with the same sound.
I dont feel much vibration but the sound and the bit of the vibration when i puss the clutch pedal disappear completely.

I'm searching for the cause of the same problem you have.

My hachi began to vibrate when the bushings have been changed out to prothane (for sure the problem was there before, but i didn't noticed anything of it until the harder bushings have been built in). After that i changed the tranny mount, because it was worn. But no effort. I've bought a tranny, changed it (new release bearing and pilot bearing, new clutch plate, pressure plate and flywheel), but it is the same (this tranny is not a new or renewed one, but the noise and vibration is exaxtly the same, so i think it's not the tranny).

Now my diff is rebuilt i will put it back this week, but i don't think, that it could be the cause. I've ordered new motor mounts, they will be changed out at the end of this month or in september. And i will rebuild my tranny next year.

So if i find out something i will inform you.
