If the clutch slave cylinder is found to not be the problem, then check the master cylinder push rod. You need 1mm of free play in the push rod for the master cylinder. If you pre-load the master cylinder piston, it will cover up the return port in the cylinder and not allow the slave cylinder to retract. The adjustment is at the top of the clutch pedal arm. Dave W
