Disconnect either the vacuumline or electric connector and it should stop working.

how to disarm the T-vis?
open offcourse
But I've disconnected the T-vis connector now. I do notice some loss on low rpm torque, but now when im driving at 4000/4500 rpm steady and I floor it, the response is much better! Before this, the t-vis needed about a second to open or something like that. Now it just goes when i put my foot down at that rpm range. Now i need a driftday to find out if 3th gear drifting goes easier. Last time when I was in a second gear drift almost in the rpm limiter and i decided to go to third gear, the revs went to just the point that my t-vis closed for a moment. At that point I got in a noticable powerband dip and the engine just dropt dead so ik had to shift back to second. I think that's also all over now, because i dont have that dip anymore. how to disarm the T-vis?
Dwars,
if you're really tinkering with this, get yourself another Tvis plate and take out the butterflies all together, then install that in place of your current Tvis. That might improve things a little as well on the high rpms. Even when stuck open these butterflies still form an obstruction. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

I still have one of those butterfly-plates in my shed. So if you need one...
