iam pimping the engine bay of my hachi and now i get no signal on the injectors. The ground contact is ok.the engine is a type 1 and the body a type 2.is it possible that a relais won't work?fuel pressure and ignition are ok.he's starts and runs perfect on carb cleaner Angry

Euhm if the wireloom is correct it should work the same with difrent engines. You can replace an engine with no problem on the same wire loom only ECU can be difrence but than still it should work.

If you measure the connectors of the injectors do you get life or not ????
maybe faulty cable ......

Did you reset the ECU? Worth a try

Blue top injectors are low impendancy (2 ohm), later types are high impendancy (13.8 ohm) , so if you changed the engine you need to change the ECU, or use some resistor pack.

Zax - regardless of Ohm numbers- the engine will startup - but run very badly on idle only.

I bealive you just have forgotten a single Earth wire somewhere

there´s one on top of the intake about 5-7cm from injector number 2/3

I´m sorry sir, your planet has been sceduled for destruction

Yeah I would say check the ground wires as well... All 4 injectors not working can't be caused by faulty wires..that would be too big a coincidence, especially when I look at the neat state of things in your engine space.
As long as your using the ECU with the wiring loom that is supposed to come with it there should be no problem using wrong injectors (10 ohm difference would indeed still work).

Now I havent checked where the ground on the intake manifold goes to, but my guess is it's as close to the injectors as possible so they get the best signal quality (since the injectors cant be grounded directly to the cilinder head).

Bridge the diagnosis connector and have a look at that if you havent solved it already..
I assume you checked for fuel pressure at the return line?

Come to think of it, when you painted the inlet manifold, did you sand the spot where the ground connects to clean? The mating surfaces need to be clean metal so you have a ground...

yeah, that ground is for the wiring harness... believe it or not, the injector ground is on the (facing from front) right side of the enginebay, it connects to your frame rail...

i have check fuel press on the inlet line. the ground/earth is ok i made an extra connection from the injectors to the chassis.i check the computer on another hachi and it works fine.now i'm gonna put another wiring harnes in the engine

Is your fuel pressure regulator okay?
Probably is, bit it is a thought.
