You can, but you'll need a small spacer as it is slightly shorter.

Perhaps the fact that they are shorter might also mean they have a shorter shaft. This would be an advantage over full length shocks when you're lowering. Cant remember the exact difference anymore.

The difference in the insert bodies for the front is no more than about 1-1.5 cm's.
Afaik the cressida is a heavier car, especially in the front, so there's also a good chance that the valving is a bit better suited to higher springrates.

I have a pair of red Koni's for a cressida that I base these remarks on. Bought them for 10 euro's years ago (hurray for ebay). They will be going on my bro's KE25 in AE86 struts.
