O2 sensor question
Hi there just a simple question i have a tomei a/f ratio gauge in my car and it came with it own sensor which is attached to the top of the manifold.
The original sensor has been cut. It runs ok at the moment (a little rich) will it be better to get a new sensor and connect it back into the loom. Its running on standard ecu with a boxer field fueling computer thx Alex |

O2 sensor question
see if your tomei sensor puts out a dummy (narrowband) signal that you can wire into the loom. Lots of aftermarket sensor can do this (innovate for example) - that is if your tomei is wideband - if it's narrowband anyway then just splice it into your original loom.
if above is possible fit your tomei sensor in place of the original as the place on top of the manifold was intended for the EGR system and AFR/lambda sensor don't like too much hit for prolonged time (bosch ones are rated around 700°C) AE86 ex-daily |
