steering problem
I had a heavy knock on the drivers side (RHD car) and it broke the outer track rod and bent the LCA, i have a manual rack ae86 and i replaced the broken outer track rod and now i can turn left with no probs but turning right gets really hard ( this is done when te wheels are off the ground) an d not normal.
What seems to be the problem do i need a new steering rack ? if so can i put in a aw11 steering rack into my ae86 as both are non ps what changes would need to be done as aw11 racks are cheaper and easier to find. ive already read up on ps to non ps using aw11 rack but have no idea putting aw11 rack into a already non ps ae86 thx alot Alex |

steering problem
Sounds like it might be a bent steering rack.. The AW rack should be exactly the same as a non-PS ae rack.
