@oldeskewltoy
thanks for the prices,i am currently waiting for dp-engineering to answer my mail.Depending on the price i will do the upgrade now or wait until later in the year.And then we can discuss what would be the best option for my head Out of curiosity,how much more do you charge if you have to provide the head itself too? @NoHachi interesting point,when i went to zolder this year we somtimes drove for almost 2 hours straight since we never encountered problems 30 minutes -> swap driver -> 30 minutes -> short break -> 30 minutes swap driver ->1 hour brake *2 I will wait for dp-engineering answer and then further research I wonder how HKS did this with there supercharger kit on a 4AGE. Did they use another ecu also? how good would you rate this then(forgive my drawing skills) red parts are changed. so if collecting all the info actually my last piece of the manifold had a dent so i will replace it,perfect moment to get it right. what would be best 4-2-1 or 4-1,currently i have 4-1 so 3 inch from the filter to the S/C then 2 inch to the manifold then 2.5 inch from the header to the back #|BUDA| i dont see a picture |

ditn Wrote:@oldeskewltoy Yes... I can supply you with a head... now for the BUT.... Frequently a head needs more than a cleaning, the valves, or guides, or even a valve seat could be bad. Fixing these parts costs extra, over and above the costs I've posted. By you sending me your head... I'm ASSUMING it is in good condition. If you send me a head not in good condition, then there are added costs to restore the head to good. IF I sell you a head... the first thing I have to do is to make sure the head is good. I DO have 2 largeport heads I've not yet dismantled, IF either is good, I'd sell one for $125.00 If neither is good, it will cost me more than $125 to make one of them good. Does any of that make sense?? In essence... yes if I have a good head, I'll sell it for $125.00 If I don't have a good head, it will cost $50 for the bad head... and it could cost as much $300-$400 to make it good. *IF* you want me to check and see if either is good... I can do that, it'll take me a few days to check and verify. Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! OST Porting service - http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19991 |

The head looks to be in good shape.
thanks for the info again,now we wait for dp-engineering to answer my mail ... @|BUDA| good read,thanks for the link. so my 4-1 header is 5cm or 2 inch. is it better to make it 2,5 inch or? the plan is then 2/2,5 inch header to middle part 2,5 inch to backbox 2,5 inch |

Header should also be 2.5", you can proberly just cut the end of your own header so that the hole will become 2.5", and then just weld a 2.5" V-Flange on

the little red arrows are pointing to 7.1mm lift, or cams from 1988 on ward the blue arrows are 7.5mm lift from the earlier pre 1988 engines As the arrows show even with stock cams, my port work improves flow. Btw, those numbers were back in 2009, my exhaust port work has improved since then. Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!!
