4agze distributor??

I have some problems with the distributor from my 4agze engine
first prob is that the cables d'ont fit in the distributorcab and second
the conector colour d'ont match (light grey/dark grey?)
so is it possible that it is the wrong cap? or the wrong distributor?
the partnumbersticker is gone so i can't check it
and i can't find a conection or wire for the lamdasonde
i hope tha somebody can help.thx!!

Looks like someone just grabbed a random set of leads thay had lying
around, and used them to get the engine running. But the distributor
looks about right... the later engines had the leads facing upwards.

If the plugs fit together correctly, you should be fine.

Depending on what car you are fitting the engine into, there may only
be a single wire for the O2 sensor. Early AE86's used unheated sensors,
so you may have to get creative with the heater wiring

so if i change the spark plug cables then it shall be ok then?

as I see you have smallport cap on your distributor. smallport has 5mm plug leads, the older engines have 8mm. I think this is your problem. You can get a cap from mr2 aw11 and it should be fine.
