Stronger axle at same weight as original
Control over rear wheel alignment (grip!)
Custom PCDs available
Cheap custom axles available from many sources now that the hub is no longer part of the axle.
Similar pricing as the weir upgrade (who are also active in dwarf car racing I think..)

I'm not sure if current prcing is attractive or not, its just a different option if you're already considering the weir axles.

the main reason is german inspection bullshit

i bought some bbs rs wheels from djexor but thy are not legal because they never got tested and don't have a kba number.

redrilling wheels is also not legal

so i like to do this conversion to have a wider varity of legal wheels to choose from, in case of the bbs rs i can go with a bmw wheel

so thx for all the input, i look in to it Thumbs up!

I don´t get this point. If you have to change the pcd of the car, then the wheels you are going to mount won´t ever be tested on this car!

The KBA number also refers to the car the rims are mounted on... and in case of a hachi, there will be a very small variety of street legal rims in Germany.

Why not just change the wheels to legal ones when you go to the inspection? 95% of modified cars won't pass inspection. Look at the german vag scene. Most of those cars are slammed and drive on deepdish wheels.

yeah georg you are right, but the wheel itself is tested and if it doesn't hit anything on the car, you can get them into your paperworks

zenki because if i get pulled over by the cops, they can take down my car because of possible road safety issues

I love living in the UK none of this TÜV bollocks,
I sugested redrilling the rear axles/ front hubs is the fastest/ easiest/ cheapest solution an noone ever will know/ see the difference.
There should be no problem with the "Einzelabnahme" either, all later Toyotas came 4x100 so the Inspector will not question it in any way! Wink

If you got fresh axles/ alloy front hubs he will definatly get suspicious, and ther will be no paperwork them...Tongue
