Oil breakdown
Kas,
I use semi-synth Motul at the moment (the Motul importer is near to my home).You don't need to change oil every 7000 km when using semi/full synthetic oils - except if you drive only in the town. PS: The 4100 Power Motul costs only 4EU/l here - pumped from the barrel. |

Oil breakdown
.... type of oil has no RPM linked to it. I know a racing 4age running on full synth at 9700 rpm. Its just the thickness of the oil with temperature and stuff that indicates
10w-40 Besides that if the engine oil pressure drops doesn't mean that its not running fine. I have had the same problem many times but in time it corrects itself. but rpm has no indication of oil how thick it should be. Oil breakdown
I change oil to Mobil 5W40, no more smoking, no oil eating. I drowe about 150 km at 5000 rmp, and it is loking good.
What is your temp of oil when running in town, and at freeway? Mine at city about 90-95, and at freeway about 100, maybe 105. My sensor is on pipe which lead oil to oil cooler. 1984 AE 86 Levin hatchback 1989 AE 92 GTi 2004 Kawasaki KLE 500 CROATIA - small country for great drift |
