Traction Brackets: How work it?
when you lower the car, te rear link arms to rear axle geometry gets distorted. So with theese you change this geometry back to the way it was. A similar function to RCA's in front.
EDIT: im hope im right on this one, lately im rediscovering alot of stuff; so please wait for comformation BTW: keiich tested them on his car and he didnt like them so much. |

Traction Brackets: How work it?
sure there are foto's, but I dont have any.. they mount to the brackets of the bottom 4-link arms. They're supposed to help counter axle hop on accel (probably a result of the changed pinion angle), but keichi and some other guys that have tried them said they make the rearend more twitchy.

Traction Brackets: How work it?
As i remember keiichi's comment on those thins, was something like this. Theese traction bracket sure do improve grip on lowered cars, but since the ae has a solid axle which is abit more prone to loosing grip on some irregularities in the road, the slip is much more unpredictable the w/o those brackets - therefore the twitchiness that ivan mentioned. As Tsuchiya said total balance is more important than grip/traction..
