diff oil
Im looking to change my diff oil this week, this is the first time i've done this so i could do with abit of advice, the 2 main things i need to know is what oil and how much
i'm currnetly looking at getting this stuff http://www.theoilman.co.uk/index.php?act...oductId=11 , will this be ok, or is there something better you can recomend,

and of course how much will i need to fill the diff, also is there any thing else i need to know,

as far as im aware the diff has done 140,000km

You need a 24mm socket or open ended wrench. Remove the filler bolt BEFORE the drain bolt. This is just to make sure you will be able to add the new fluid after you drain the old stuff. I use Motul 90pa with my Kaaz 2-way. If you have an OEM LSD or open diff you should use 80-90W.

Shavings/Filings are normal so dont panic.
24mm Socket, open top, then open bottom to drain oil, secure bottom & pump in the new diffoil until it starts to overflow. Then secure that particular hole with the 24mm.
I think it takes just over 1ltr
