You can access the tach from the back side of the cluster.......
This is my AE71 cluster... but it is fitted with the AE89(FX16) tach. the wires coming out are in replacement for screws. Go into your wiring manual, figure out which of those leads is the tach signal, and fit a tapping wire under the screw! Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!!
