The SR5 spec has a 4AC engine (1600) instead of the 3AC engine (1500) in the AE85. It is also somewhat more luxurious in options, so it could have powersteering and airco but I doubt if that was included in the EU spec SR5. The tranny means transmission. The K50 is, as I understood, weaker than the T50 so using a GZE on a K50 is asking for trouble. The AE86 has the T50 and we've seen several cars being converted to GZE on a T50 without major problems. Meshin: you are right about that, I forgot to mention that as well. That also means if you swap the axle as well you have to swap the brake balancer as well. Robokill: we have already seen a couple of SR5 spec levins through Europe: spitfire in Czech, one in Hungary and another one in Turkey. Most of them were sold in Switzerland. You are also correct on the wireloom: the engine loom should be different but most of it is the same. Easier to swap only part of it.
