4agze is like a 4ag swap, but you gotta do a lot more. if you never done a 4ag swap then dont do it. its best to find a junked gt-s and swap all powertrain parts over. just go through all the posts and piece together what everyone is telling you.

oh yea i had a sr5 before. it wasnt too healthy, but i managed to beat a bunch of cars in SCCA solo2, and on the highway i somehow got up to 110+ mph at 6k redline. it would not go further. but that was like 6 years ago.

Interesting stuff. Paradise Racing is like 5 minutes away from my house so I visited the place. The guy told me to do a 4AG carbed engine. Anything will do because my 4AC engine isnt too healthy...

need help getting an engine have done the crank thats 2 in the 3weeks frist was a blue top then a redtop block and blue head any ideas?

What makes the redtop different from the other 4AGs?

red top ih hi comp and the blue top is lower

bluetop- large intake ports, TVIS, 3 rib block, bigger cams, lower rated injectors

redtop- small intake ports, non TVIS, 7 rib block, smaller cams, higher rated injectors

DO you guys think I should spend $750 USD for the carb, valve springs and racing cams? or try to get a new engine?

I like the fact that these parts will make it possible to keep up with a stock 4AGE. It will help me keep my car on the road and not in some shop or garage being rebuilt for 10 million years, but i really like the 4AGE engine, my AE86 is not my main car so it really doesnt matter

yes...just some minor things you have to do.

sniper- get a 4ag. dont fool yourself with an old tired 4a-c. the minute you start modding it, the motor will blow. then you could have just dumped the same amount of money into a faster 4a-g. find a junked gt-s and swap everything. or just find a gt-s. i had a 4a-c before and i will never consider one again.

750 euro's is a nice amount of money. What claims to be the power output ???

Altough if not that good i would suggest a 4age. They are cheaper and in the end you prolly spend the same amount of money.
