Brutal sounds comming from rear brake
Hey guys, sorry to waste your time but we have a problem on my mates 86 that we cant figure out no matter what we try...

His rear left brake was doing some wierd sounds while braking (Im not sure how to describe the sound, something like whisteling perhaps?). It wasnt really loud bot it got quite annoying after some time, so he decided to change the rear pads and calipers. But instead of improving, the sound got 100x worse. Its so bad you can barely drive the car Undecided

Anyone ever experienced the same problem?

Thanks a lot for any help!

Cheers

Also check if the slide-pin is still straight. I once bent one on my rear brakes, which also caused some weird noises (though not as brutal as the noise you are talking about).
