and then i got bored of the cleaning job, and i placed a spare head in the enginebay, to look how it all fits (just Big Grin), exhaust is going to be a story on it's own though...

Today Dennis brought my freshly painted valve cover in!

Have to wait a few days untill the paint hardens, then i'm going to sand the higher area's on the cover to really get them to stand out! Big Grin

Dennis did a sterling job, thank you sir! Big Grin

The Doctor

My bad. You probably didn't grease the lettering? It's much easier to scrape it off if you grease it.

cheers

Good weather, so i've got my mojo back! Big Grin
Did loads this weekend, here's a quick update!

My mate Dennis helped me alot this weekend (especially because he's better with the spraycan as i am! and he's also got tiny hands which do fit in 70s Toyota doors! Big Grin )

In the meanwhile we did some other small jobs:

refitted all the locks, so the door works again! all rubbers are back in too.

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

rear bumper refitted:

Also i tried the rooflining on, just held in with keepyourlaundryontheline devices, i think i'll get this in very nicely!

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

also started on refitting the interior and painted the upperdash:

next on the line is the rear seat and the cage. But the rooflining needs to be done first!

Need to order a clutch and then the engine can go in too!

Thanks Dennis! Big Grin
