This is what you need to do:

Otherwise we will just keep on guessing from a distance..

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

Hi Guys,

Went out to the car today and did the diagnostic check looped the wire in the diagnostic port and watched.here's what happened:

The engine check light flashed 5 times
then paused for 0.5 sec and flashed 6 times
then paused for0.5 sec and flashed 10 times

Does this mean there is a code 56 wrong with the car and if so what is code 56??,also can anyone tell me what the flashing 10 times is about.
Anyway i then disconnected the NEGATIVE on the ECU and went about cleaning all the EARTHS on the car, when i reconnected the ECU and started it was fine.Drove great for the whole evening

Can anyone put a bit of light on this (hope it behave's,fingers X'd)

cab32,

A good! Atleast you got her driving again!! Bad grounds suckBig Grin

As for the codes, good question, I think its time someone put a nice little writeup up about checking the error codes with a nice list of what they mean, who feels up to it? Wink
