What aftermarket exhaustsystem?

Hello,

I'm looking for a aftermarket exhaustsystem, the compleet exhaust without the manifold. I saw the HKS Hiper, this system will go underneat the realaxle, instead of over it.

Are there shops in Holland. Europe or do I have to order it in the USA?

Are their members on this forum who have this system on their car, or a similar system?

JanSpeed also has complete exhaustsystems. Don't know if they run under or over the axle

I would not use an underdiff exhaust unless you plan to go very low.
The ground clearance is really worthless when the car is lowered far enough to use an underdiff. It will hit the axle if the car isnt lowered a lot.
I only know Janspeed as well, as far as exhaust systems available here is concerned.

Michel, a word of advice...
Don't invest money in any of the big brand names. All you are paying for is the logo on the box. When you see the quality of no-name systems these days, it would be stupid to not consider them.

One thing that could make a difference is going for a light weight system. I believe CBY makes a titanium exhaust for the AE86. Now thats cool.

You got the translation correct. I could ask someone about the diameter of the exhaust pipes, but it'll have to wait till sunday.

Notes on the Janspeed system

Plenty of UK owners have the Janspeed system, especially in Ireland where it an essential component along with the superlite wheels. (Well i know Ireland isn't the UK).

Anyway, general concensous is that the manifold is pretty good (but the standard Toyota is also good, just doesn't look great) but the quality of the exhaust could be better. You should also be able to get a stainless steel exhaust custom made for not a great deal more. I'll have a work with a contact or two if there is enough demand.
