Where to find the informations on the gearbox/engine
Hi.
My TE71 was swapped with a Toyota Diesel engine So tomorrow i am going around to check what there is. But where can i find for example T50 on the gearbox, or 2 TC 3 TC Sorry to ask but i am more on Honda stuff (which i know where to look at for the info). And how to recognize the steerings "Worm and Roller" and "rack and pinions" Thank you |

Diesel!
Then the engine should most probably be a 1C... T50 should be readable on top of the gearbox... You can see here how the T50 and K50 (just in case) should look: http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/p/96200#96200 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

If you have a 1C engine it is probably mated with a W51 gearbox a 3SGE swap would be a good substitute for the 4AGE. >

The T50 gearbox does not have "T50" or anything like that written on it. You can identify the T50 gearbox as it is a split case design, which is sort of rare.
A W series gearbox is a more regular sandwich style gearbox. |
