removing engine mounts
I dont think it´s too dificult to do that, if you have a crane or a jack (not the stock one, those with wheels and lever...).
One way, or another, you gonna need to get the car off the ground a bit to meke it easy to work underneath. With the crane, hold the engine by the proper hooks, just to make it leveled/suspended, you dont need to lift it like you´re gonna take it out, and then change the mounts one by one. For me this is the easyest way, but its not easy to put the hands on a crane, but if you know someone, or can get one from somewhere else... With the jack, never done it, but i think it will do it. Hold the engine as near as you can from the mount you want to change, and then lift it just a bit or ajust the height as you need to take out and put in the mounts. In boths situations, the "one by one" substituition will work better, this way you dont have the risk to let the engine fall out of his place, so it wont damage, or worse, remember that you´ll work underneath it. I never changed the mounts on a Corolla, but i did some swaps on other cars, changed cambelts (belive it or not, some cars you need to lean the engine to do this and of course, take out some mounts), but it is a general tip, will work.
