Placement location fuel filter
Hi guys,
I'm currently doing an engine conversion and have to find a new spot for my fuel filter with brackets. See this link for the filter type: http://sasautocustoms.co.uk/494-home_def...racket.jpg Previously it was in the engine bay but I do not want to put it back there again as I want to keep my engine bay as clean as possible. I also want to keep it outside of the car so I'm currently thinking of putting it above the rear axle somewhere on the opposite side of the exhaust side. As the body has some nice flat spots there. Obviously I do not want the filter to be crushed when the axle travels but since my exhaust also goes over the rear axle I would imagine it's fine. Is my thinking correct? Also does anyone have experience with relocating their fuel filter? And perhaps some pictures of it's new location? Cheers. AE86 Levin |
