removing clocks
so does anyone know how to remove the dash clocks the speedo and stuff,

does the dash have to come out

or do you just remove the black plastic cover then take the clock out

I think it's just the steering wheel, dash cover and then the clock. Nothing more. Check the FSM, you can download it from this site, the link is in the technical FAQ Big Grin

I didn't need to remove the steering wheel: I bent the black cover a bit and I was able to squeeze it between the dash and the steering wheel (in lowest position). However this may damage (e.g. break in half) your cover so it's better to do it by removing the steering wheel Wink

my steering wheel is only held on by 6 allan key bolts anyway since it is an aftermarket one

I'd prefer the original...1 huge nut....much easier to work with than those allen bolts.

Then I think it should be possible to remove the black cover by putting the steeringwheel in the lowest position without much effort. Wink
