Hello,
the kouki axle has a bigger axle diameter than the zenki.
There is no difference beween right and left.
Hope this helps?

Those pictures look healthy.
TA22 should have the same LSD as a zenki AE86 afaik.
If the parts in the picture look equally good on both sides, then you probably have a broken lsd, this will cause a lot of 'slop' on the axle. It is a very common problem on ae86 original LSD's, the metal plate holding the gears that the axleshafts connect to breaks pretty easily.

Yes TA22 does have the same axle spline as zenki AE86.
But I´m sure the TA22 axle is shorter because the axle housing of a TA22 is narrower than a AE86 housing.
But it could be compensated, because you need to shorten the TA22 axles, from what I remember 5mm each sind to fit the AE86 LSD.#
Don´t know if this answers any of your questions... Smile

so..... the results!!!

diff is in good condition (gears & housing) but he want repair kit ( check photos to confirm )

now the problems.......
1) the left side gear unfortunately is bigger than the right one Banging head
first pics is for the right side gear with axle and other 2 is the left one
the gap between the gear and the axle is obviously!!

<a target='_blank' href='http://img34.imageshack.us/i/dsc03587s.jpg/'><img src='http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/7027/dsc03587s.th.jpg' border='0'></a>

2) something i notice from the first time but i didn't care about that....
according to the manual "align the marks on the case and case cover" page 6
<a target="_blank" href="http://img40.imageshack.us/i/lsd6.gif/"><img src="http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/7890/lsd6.th.gif" border="0"></a><br>
I mark the case before remove it and then i see the factory marks wrong!!
<a target="_blank" href="http://img152.imageshack.us/i/dsc03594q.jpg/"><img src="http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/2619/dsc03594q.th.jpg" border="0"></a><br>

btw...
i remove the case cover with all the parts and... from one side i found 3 parts and from the other side two!! is this right? i think no.....
<a target="_blank" href="http://img262.imageshack.us/i/imag0337p.jpg/"><img src="http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/2193/imag0337p.th.jpg" border="0"></a><br>

After a quick search i found this photo and check what includes this diff and i haven't one part!!!

this is right or the guy that he sold me forgot to put it inside?? ( he said that its never opened )

It appears you are missing a clutch plate, and one of the gears is clearly a kouki model (i assume you tried them on the same axle).

The clutch plates are easily replaced with a rebuild kit (check T3, toyota or Weir performance). The little brass plate in pic 2 is usually not included in rebuild kits but can be bought from toyota (I did once).

I might be able to find you a spare gear as I have one or two broken LSD's that I have no real use for, but I'd suggest you look around locally first.
