First tell us how high the oil pressure is at the moment (on the scale).
My last engine had broken 2 piston rings and the oil pressure was very high back then. Easiest way to check that is to pull the crankcase ventilation tube from the inlet manifold and see how much smoke is coming out..big clouds/oil coming out of the air filter indicate a dead engine. Also: does it idle normally? My old broken engine couldnt keep running at idle anymore when it was warmed up.

High oil pressure it’s not a bad thing at all. I don’t know why you are so worried about it.
How much high is it on the scale?

Fun is not the straight line!

I'm a bit more worried about my low oil pressure at idle these days..it's at the half of the scale (lowest line in safe area), and drops even a bit under that when the engine idles lower than 900rpm.
On the other hand unusually high oil pressure can be an indicator that there is a lot of blow-by past the pistons.

Same here!
During driving it stays around 70-80% of scale and during idle it drops a little bit under minimum line.
I’m using Valvoline full synt. 5w-40. It was the same with Castrol RS 10w-60.

I almost don't drive it above 3k RPM because of the pressure.

i shouldn't be to worried if i were you.
That's the region it should be in!

Your instruction book (if you got one ...) states that this is the perfect value for a warm 4A-GE.
